Please reach us at gogoggles@goggleslearning.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The Goggles Learning Program focuses on starting with what the student needs to learn then builds lesson plans based on the student's individual progress. For example, if a nine-year-old student needs to learn how to add single digit numbers, that's where I start.
Then, I focus on building lessons based on the student's individual progress. If a student needs more time practicing addition, that's where we stay. If the student has mastered the skill, (is able to perform the skill with at least a 90% accuracy) we move on.
Goggles Learning does not grade a student's work. First, I let the student know where he or she did well, then I help the student make improvements where he or she is struggling.
Every session is taught through a platform called LessonSpace. Once your child is registered as a Goggles Learning student, you will be emailed a link to your personal Lesson Space. You do NOT have to sign up or pay for LessonSpace.
LessonSpace allows me to interact with your child in real time and post learning materials on the interactive whiteboard. You or your child will also be able to use the whiteboard and post materials from your end too.
Please note: LessonSpace (thelessonspace.com) is a separate company from Goggles Learning. Goggles Learning does not promoting the sale of services or products sold by LessonSpace.
Goggles Learning offers services year round. I follow your family's schedule and needs.
Your child can start any time of the year and continue for as long as you need services. There are no prescheduled summer or spring breaks.
However, because I am a sole proprietor, I do take time off once in a while. I will let you know in advanced when I plan my time off. You may receive a discount for that month if my time off affects your child's learning session.
If you need to take time off, let me know in advance. We will pause your child's servcies then pick up where we left off when your child returns.
Please see the Terms and Conditions page for more information.

The Goggles Learning Program builds a customized curriculum around the student's needs.
I evaluate you child to determine where he or she needs to start. Then I build lesson plans and design customize materials based on the student's needs and interests.
For example, if you child is interested in soccer, will build materials and lesson plans based around soccer. Math skills can be taught by counting pictures of soccer balls, or uses word problems based on soccer team scores.
If you child has completed a worksheet or writing assignment, take a photo or scan the homework then text it to 407-729-4255 or email it to gogoggles@goggleslearning.com. You can also post work directly onto Lesson space.
When completing homework:
-Print worksheets on white paper or complete your homework on lined notebook paper
-Use a dark pencil, pen or other writing tool

Learning materials such as worksheets and other printables are provided in PDF form and emailed to you.
Sessions require an device with an internet connection, a working camera, working microphone, and a mouse or stylus. The camera and microphone must be on for the duration of the learning session.
It is highly recommended that your child use a device with a touch screen, but this is not required. Phones are not recommended because the screen size is too small for most activities.
It is also recommended that you have a printer and computer paper to print learning materials at home, but this is not required. In some cases, I will post learning materials on your childs Lesson Space for him or her to use outside of the learning session.
Other materials include pencils, paper, crayons, notebooks, scissors, glue or glue sticks, and a designated work space. The materials your child needs dependes on what type of skill sets your child is learning.
Behavior issues do arise occasionally. It is important that you remain alert during your child's learning session. In most cases, I am able to give your child directions on how to calm themselves and refocus on the task at hand. In extreme cases, you may need to intervene.
1. Stay calm yourself. Avoid yelling, profanity, threats, hitting, or name calling. This will only exacerbate the problem.
2. Let the child know in a firm voice that the behavior is not acceptable.
3. If necessary, request to take a break for a few minutes to allow your child to compose him or herself. keep in mind that sessions have a time limit and may not be extended.
4. If the child's behavior cannot be resolved in a few minutes, you may request a make-up session
Session times are based on the student's needs. Some students need to take short, frequent breaks while others can stay focused for the full duration.
1. Let me know during your meet and greet (free first session) if your child needs frequent breaks. These will be built into your child's session time.
2. Have your child use the bathroom before starting each session.
3. Your child is welcome to eat and drink during the learning session provided it does not interfere with his or her learning.
